Intimacy Coordinator Training

CINTIMA offers two tracks for Intimacy Coordinator training in the film and television industry:

Training Track

If you simply want to acquire the skills and start applying them in the field, our self-study training track is perfect for you. You will need to complete all four modules to receive a proof of full-training credential, but certification is not required to begin working. If trainees want to take one module at a time, CINTIMA will also grant trainees proof of training credentials upon successful completion of each module.

Certification Track

For those seeking a CINTIMA CERTIFIED designation, we offer an expanded course that includes on-set mentorship & one-on-one assessments. After completing the basic four modules & obtaining a proof of full-training credential, trainees can proceed to become CINTIMA CERTIFIED. Please note that an additional fee will be required for certification.

ON SET EXPERIENCE

Between Module 2 & 3 trainees will be required to have completed a minimum of 10 days working on a live film or television set. Module 3 will get into the nuts and bolts of the job of being an Intimacy coordinator, from landing your first job to conducting your first calls with production to being on set, to post production, and trainees will need to have some basic familiarity with being on set in order to excel in Module 3.

MODULE IV

4 DAY CHOREOGRAPHY WORKSHOP IN LOS ANGELES

DAY 1: Intro, establishing the container, working with actors, setting boundaries, establishing touch, table work/scene study, assign scene partners.
DAY 2: Choreography, staging scenes, rehearsing scenes
DAY 3: Barriers and modesty garments, shooting scenes, camera angles, coverage, students choreograph.
DAY 4: Being on set, Onset scenarios, show and tell student scenes, notes and discussion, closing.

Certification Track

Once you have completed the four training modules and have your proof of full-training credential, you can enroll in our CINTIMA Certification Track.

Candidates will be required to complete a final film project. Candidates will also receive mentorship throughout their first Intimacy Coordinator job they secure. There will then be a 1-on-1 assessment interview with the CINTIMA Team.
